History

The board was founded in 1882.[2]

The original school was built that same year, with an addition built in 1909. It was demolished in June 1965 to make way for its replacement.

The current school building was built in 1965.[2]

In 1985 the school had 12 teachers and 166 students. That year, an administrative assistant stated that the school system had no plans to add high school due to the school system's size.[3]

A new school is planned to open in September 2027.[2]
