Perinaldo (Ligurian: Pȓeiñaudu, Preinoud[3]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region of Liguria, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Imperia.
It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").[4] It is the birthplace of the 17th-century Italian naturalised French astronomer Giovanni Domenico Cassini.
