- Giang Tiên town, Vô Tranh commune and Tức Tranh commune to the east
- Đại Từ district, Động Đạt commune and Yên Đổ commune to the west

History
On 2005, Phấn Mễ were divided under 26 hamlets(xóm): Tràng Học, Giá 1, Giá 2, Mấu 1, Mấu 2, Làng Trò, Tân Hòa, Làng Mai, Mỹ Khánh, Bò 1, Bò 2, Bún 1, Bún 2, Giang 1, Giang 2, Phú Sơn, Làng Hin, Bầu 1, Bầu 2, Cọ 1, Cọ 2, Phú Yên, Lân 1, Lân 2, Hoa 1, Hoa 2.
Under Nghị quyết số 124/NQ-CP 2013, on December 13th, 2013, transferred 388.08 hectares and 1,744 people to Đu, leaving 22 hamlets, 2.142,92 ha, and 9,072.[1]
On December 1st, 2024, Phấn Mễ was dissolved, 6.29 km2 and 5,404 people integrated into Đu and 14.9 km2 and 6,042 people integrated into Giang Tiên under Nghị quyết số 1240/NQ-UBTVQH15.[2]
