Pixie Polite began her career on the UK cabaret circuit in the mid-2010s. In 2015, she was the runner-up in the national competition Drag Idol UK, placing second to fellow drag artist Danny Beard.[3]

In 2022, Pixie Polite competed on the fourth series of the television series RuPaul's Drag Race UK. On the first episode, she paid homage to BBC comedy Only Fools and Horses in a look inspired by Del Boy.[4] For the Snatch Game challenge, she impersonated Welsh singer Shirley Bassey.[5] Pixie Polite eliminated Dakota Schiffer from the competition and ultimately placed fifth, reaching the semi-finals.[6][7] Following the series, she toured with her fellow series 4 contestants.[8] She subsequently embarked on a solo international tour, performing dates across Australia, Asia, and Canada.[9] She also took a break from social media after receiving an "overwhelming amount of abuse".[10]

Pixie Polite released her debut single "Give It to Ya" in 2022.[11] The track received a music video.[12] In December 2022, Pixie Polite performed as a featured soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall for the production A Christmas Gaiety. She performed alongside Le Gateau Chocolat and fellow Drag Race contestant Cheddar Gorgeous.[13][14]

In July 2024, she was a featured guest on the podcast The Final FronTia, hosted by Drag Race contestant Tia Kofi.[15] For Pride Month 2025, Pixie Polite released a single "See It, Slay It, Sorted!" in collaboration with Thameslink.[16][17]
