Plectranthias helenae is a species of fish in the family Serranidae occurring in the Pacific Ocean. [2] There is little concern over this species and its extinction rate.[1]

This species reaches a length of 6.2 cm (2.4 in).[3]
Etymology
American ichthyologist J.E. Randall named the fish in honor of his spouse, Helen, "in gratitude for her encouragement and assistance in this and other ichthyological studies".[4]
