Poppy Adams is a British television documentary director/producer and novelist. She has made films for the BBC, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel.[1] Her first novel, The Behaviour of Moths (2008),[2] was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award in the 2008 Costa Book Awards.[3]

Adams attended the Dragon School in Oxford, England, and later received a degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University.[4][1] She has made films for the BBC, Channel 4, and the Discovery Channel.[1] The Behaviour of Moths has been read on the BBC's Book at Bedtime over ten episodes on Radio 4 by Stephanie Cole.[5] She has also featured on the BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour.[6]

Poppy Adams lives with her husband and three children in London.[7]
