Production
The film was named after the 1981 film of the same name, which was about a cancer patient. Dasari Narayana Rao, who directed the older film, wrote the story for this film. To distinguish between that film, this film was given the tagline of Veediki cancer ledu (this guy is not suffering from cancer).[3] A song was shot at Ramoji Film City in early 2008.[4]
Soundtrack
The soundtrack was composed by Chakri.[5]
