Proteracacinidin

Proteracacinidins are polymeric condensed tannins composed of mesquitol. This type of tannin can be found in hook-thorn tree (Senegalia afra).^[1][2][3]

The oxidative depolymerization of proteracacinidins yields the anthocyanidin teracacinidin.^{[citation needed]}
