Taxonomy

This species was described in 1979 by A.D Blest from male and female specimens. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.^[1]

Description

The male is recorded at 3.92mm in length whereas the female is 4.4mm. This species has a dark brown cephalothorax. The abdomen has dark and pale markings.^[1]

Distribution

This species is only known from Otago, New Zealand.^[1]

Conservation status

Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".^[2]
