Plot

An undocumented immigrant from the Philippines named Joy is struggling to make a living to support her daughter in the United Kingdom. One day, Joy finds a well-paying job as a caretaker for a rich old man afflicted by a terminal disease. Soon, Joy finds out that the old man hides many dark secrets that can ruin everything she worked hard for.^[1][2]

On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 95% of 56 critics' reviews are positive. The website's consensus reads: "Dispensing social commentary shrouded in gothic dread, Raging Grace smartly balances its messaging against vivid atmosphere and absorbing character-driven drama."^[3] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 65 out of 100, based on 11 critics, indicating "generally favorable" reviews.^[4]
