The 2023 Thai general election was held in Thailand on 14 May 2023 to elect 500 members of the House of Representatives. 400 members were elected from each electoral district by first-past-the-post voting, and 100 members were elected from a party list.[1] 251 seats were required for control of the House of Representatives and 376 seats for control of the prime ministerial election (the House and Senate elect the Prime Minister together).[2]
