Rima Assi Rahbani (Arabic: ريما عاصي الرحباني; born 1965) is a Lebanese filmmaker and writer, born to composer Assi Rahbani and singer Fairuz (Nouhad Haddad).

Among her most notable works is the documentary film Kant Hekaya (كانت حكاية; It Was a Story), which explores the lives of her parents and was produced to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of her father's passing . She also directed another film titled Tahiya (تحية; Tribute).[1][2] In recent years, she has also worked as producer for her mother's recordings.[3]

Family

Rahbani belongs to a prominent artistic family. The daughter of Fairuz and Assi Rahbani, she is the younger sister of musician Ziad Rahbani. Her uncles include the late artist Mansour Rahbani and Elias Rahbani, while her maternal aunt is the actress and singer Hoda Haddad.[4]
