Roberto Carpio

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Carpio and the second or maternal family name is Nicolle.

Roberto Carpio Nicolle (16 July 1930 – 24 February 2022) was a Guatemalan politician who served as Vice President of Guatemala from 14 January 1986^[1] to 14 January 1991 in the cabinet of President Vinicio Cerezo.^[2][3] He was a member of DCG.^[4]

Before he was elected as Vice President, Carpio served as the President of the National Constituent Assembly from 1984 to January 1986.^[4]

Carpio died in Guatemala City^{[citation needed]} on 24 February 2022 at the age of 91.^[5]
