Romanovsky District (Russian: Романовский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast.

The area of the district is 1,300 square kilometers (500 sq mi).^{[citation needed]} Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Romanovka.^[2]

Demographics

Population: 16,226 (2010 Census);^[3] 18,150 (2002 Census);^[8] 19,404 (1989 Soviet census).^[9] The population of Romanovka accounts for 44.8% of the district's total population.^[3]
