History

The constituency was created in 2002 from portions of Shellbrook-Spiritwood, Redberry Lake, and Rosthern, and was first contested in the 2003 general election.[1] Rosthern-Shellbrook will gain significant territory from Biggar-Sask Valley for the next general election, in what will be the riding's first major boundary reconfiguration since its creation.[2]
