Ruth Pelupessy (27 April 1938 – 21 October 1996) was an Indonesian actress and model. She was known for playing antagonists and starring in horror films.

Biography
Pelupessy was born on 27 April 1938 at Bangka Island, North Sulawesi, Dutch East Indies. She had three younger sisters, who all also became models, and her parents were Jacob Pelupessy and Christina Moniyung.[citation needed]
Pelupessy was known for playing antagonists and starring in horror films.[1][2] She was crowned the best female antagonist in Indonesian film industry (along with Suzzanna and Mieke Wijaya)[2] and won the Indonesian Film Festival's 1976 Citra Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Ranjang Pengantin [id].[3]
Pelupessy died on 21 October 1996, aged 58 and was buried at TPU Kampung Kandang, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.[4]
