History
Paul Rider, a professional thriving in London's FinTech sector, faced challenges in finding a compatible Christian partner through existing online dating platforms. Recognizing a gap in the market for a faith-based dating service, he was inspired to create SALT—a dating app tailored specifically for Christians. Upon its launch, SALT attracted thousands of users and achieved profitability. To further its mission of supporting Christians in various stages of relationships, from singleness to marriage preparation, SALT sought additional capital for expansion. SALT secured $370,000 in funding, enabling it to enhance its offerings and extend its global reach.[7]
