Remove ads
The Samsung Experience Store is a chain of retail locations operated by or affiliated with Samsung Electronics, designed to provide immersive, hands-on experiences with Samsung's latest consumer technologies. While Samsung has operated branded retail locations for many years,
Samsung Experience Stores emphasize interactive demonstrations, lifestyle-based product integration, and brand engagement. These stores feature curated zones for hands-on use of Samsung Galaxy smartphones, tablets, wearables, laptops, and accessories, as well as smart home devices powered by SmartThings. Customers can also access services such as on-site technical support, device customization, trade-in programs, and product workshops.
Samsung Experience Stores are located in major global cities and high-profile retail areas, including Samsung Gangnam in Seoul, Samsung KX in London, and multi-story Experience Stores in cities such as New York, Dubai, and Bangkok. While some locations are operated directly by Samsung Electronics, others are run in partnership with local subsidiaries or authorized distributors.[1][2]
In some markets, particularly in South Korea, the chain operates under the name Samsung Store. These stores may vary in layout and service offerings, and not all carry the same experiential focus as Samsung Experience Stores.[3][4]

Perspective
Samsung Experience Stores, known simply as Samsung stores in some regions, and previously branded as Galaxy Stores in some countries, are branded retail stores offering Samsung Electronics products throughout the world.[5][6][7] While all stores include products from Samsung Electronics' mobile devices, particularly those using the Samsung Galaxy brand, some stores additionally feature other Samsung-owned brands, including SmartThings smart devices, Harman audio products, Samsung TVs, and Samsung home appliances.[8][9]
Pop-up shops and kiosks
In addition to Samsung Experience Store locations, Samsung runs pop-up shops in some regions. In the United States, these are branded Samsung Experience Shops located inside Best Buy stores.[10] In New Zealand, pop-up shops are branded Samsung Pop-up Experiences, while longer-lasting kiosk locations are branded Samsung Studios.[11][12]
Other stores
Other Samsung-branded stores exist in multiple countries, including countries with Samsung Experience Stores or Samsung Stores.[13] These are generally not considered part of Samsung's retail chain.
In Samsung's domestic market of South Korea, where the Samsung Store chain is present, there are also various service stores throughout the country with showcases of different Samsung products available for purchase and also have repair centers for those items.[14] There are also stores dedicated to the installation of large household appliances such as TVs, dishwashers, and refrigerators,[14] and stores just for the sale and repair of its memory products, such as SSDs.[14]
