Sardasht County (Persian: شهرستان سردشت) is in West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sardasht.[3]

History
After the 2016 National Census, the village of Nalas was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
In 2022, Bask-e Kuleseh and Gavork-e Sardasht Rural Districts, and the cities of Nalas and Rabat, were separated from their districts in the formation of Rabat District. At the same time, Vazineh District[a] was separated from the county in the establishment of Mirabad County and renamed the Central District.[5]

Population
At the time of the 2006 census, the county's population was 104,146 in 20,414 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 111,590 people in 26,546 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the county as 118,849 in 31,049 households.[2]

Tourism
The Shalmash Falls are in Sardasht County in a green forested valley near Shalmash Village.[8] Kani Grawan is also another popular tourist attraction in Sardasht County located near Kani Gaviz village.[9]
