Sayaka Kurara (玖麗 さやか, Kurara Sayaka; born June 20, 2000) is a Japanese professional wrestler. She is signed to World Wonder Ring Stardom where she is a member of Cosmic Angels.

Early life

Sayaka Kurara was born in Toyohashi, Japan on June 20, 2000. She attended an art high school and moved to Toyko to study art, specializing in oil painting. Her club activity during high school was brass band and had no prior sports background. However, she was inspired to enter professional wrestling after witnessing the final 5★STAR GP match between Tam Nakano and Giulia in 2022.

World Wonder Ring Stardom (2023–present)

In March 2023, Kurara joined World Wonder Ring Stardom as a trainee. She made her official in-ring debut at Stardom New Blood 12 on December 25, 2023, where she faced Saya Kamitani.[1]

Cosmic Angels (2024-present)

On February 12, 2024, Kurara teamed up with Mei Seira in a losing effort against Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano and Yuna Mizumori), after the match Kurara confronted both Nakano and Mizumori by telling them she wants to join the unit. Kurara would then become their apprentice.[2] On April 12, Kurara officially joined the Cosmic Angels with Aya Sakura.[3] At All Star Grand Queendom 2024, Kurara unsuccessfully challenged Rina for the Future of Stardom Championship in her first attempt.[4] On June 21, Sakurara (Aya Sakura and Sayaka Kurara) unsuccessfully challenged wing★gori (Hanan and Saya Iida) for the New Blood Tag Team Championship at Stardom New Blood 13.[5] On July 27, Kurara was defeated by her Cosmic Angels stablemate, Tam Nakano at Stardom Sapporo World Rendezvous night 1.[6] On September 28, Kurara got her first win by pinning Saya Kamitani in a 6 person tag match.[7] On the 2024 edition of the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, Kurara teamed up with Nakano as Tokimeki Purin a la Mode and scored only 6 points.[8] At Year-End X'Mas Night, Kurara would then fail to capture the Future of Stardom Championship against Miyu Amasaki on her second attempt.[9]

On Stardom New Year Dream, Cosmic Angels (Saori Anou, Natsupoi, Sayaka Kurara) defeated Vulgar Alliance (Dump Matsumoto and Zap) and Natsuko Tora.[10] At Stardom New Year Stars in Korakuen, Sakuraramon (Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurara, Yuna Mizumori) unsuccessfully challenged Tam Nakano, Natsupoi, and Saori Anou for the Artist of Stardom Championship.[11] On March 15, 2025, Kurara won the Stardom Cinderella Tournament 2025 after defeating Rina in the finals.[12] At Stardom All Star Grand Queendom 2025, she defeated Thekla in Thekla's final match in the company.[13] In a post-match interview she signalled her intent to challenge for the World of Stardom Championship as part of her Cinderella Tournament winner's wish. On May 10, Kurara would then unsuccessfully challenge Kamitani for the World of Stardom Championship at Korakuen hall.[14] On June 21, Sakuraramon (Aya Sakura, Sayaka Kurara, Yuna Mizumori) defeated Ema Maishima, Momo Kohgo, and Kikyo Furusawa at the Conversion.[15] On June 6, Kurara announced her challenge for the Future of Stardom Championship against Hina.[16] At Stardom Sapporo World Rendezvous 2025, Kurara unsuccessfully challenged Hina for the Future of Stardom Championship on her third attempt.[17]
