Science & Society: A Journal of Marxist Thought and Analysis is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal of Marxist scholarship. It covers economics, philosophy of science, theoretical foundations in the natural sciences, historiography, women's studies, literature, the arts, and other social science disciplines from a Marxist point of view. In addition to its emphasis on social and political theory, the journal also includes first-order historical research.
The journal was established in 1936 and has appeared quarterly ever since. In January 2025, ownership of the journal transferred from Guilford Press to Sage Publishing. The editor-in-chief is Julio Huato (City University of New York).[1] David Laibman is editor emeritus.[2]
