Scott Mayman is an Australian radio presenter. Born 1969 in Australia, he has worked professionally in both his home country, and in the United States, (on TV as well as Radio) where he has won a number of awards,[1] including "Best Radio News Story" at the Gold Coast Media Awards in 2009.[2] Scott also won the "Best Presenter Award" two years in a row.[3]

Since 2010, Scott has operated the 4BC/101FM "ready reserve" program.
Scott is the former News Director at Radio 4BC Brisbane (from 2010 to 2015) and former breakfast show host (Morning Drive as they say in America) at FM104.1 Gold Coast and is currently an opinion panelist with SKY NEWS and remains the Australian Correspondent for U.S. Radio ABC America after switching from CBS where he spent 24 years with the media outlet. As a U.S. Citizen, Scott operated the KCMO-AM newsroom as News Director and has many grass roots across North America.
Today, he continues to read news for 2CC Canberra and 6iX Perth. At the same time, Scott is the aviation writer for "City News" publication and continues to work as correspondent for ABC NEWS RADIO as well as NPR News.
In 2024, while travelling back to Australia after covering the 23rd anniversary of the September 11 attacks in New York City, Scott suffered from a medical episode at Sydney Airport. It turns out, he choked on a sandwich and lost oxygen but a nearby doctor saved his life. He was treated at the Prince of Wales Hospital and was discharged a few days later.[5]
