Sidewalk rage, also known as pedestrian rage or pedestrian aggressiveness syndrome, is aggressive or angry behavior exhibited by pedestrians.[1][2] Sidewalk rage is a common phenomenon in cities with crowded sidewalks.[3] Sidewalk rage can be directed at other pedestrians, cyclists, or drivers.[4] Pedestrian-on-pedestrian sidewalk rage is often in response to slow walkers (see preferred walking speed).[5]
