Sidiki Cherif (born 15 December 2006) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Angers. Born in Guinea, he represents France at youth international level.

Club career

Born in Conakry, Cherif arrived in France at the age of 5.^[1] He is a youth product of US Bayard Saumur, Olympique Saumur and Angers,^[1] where he impressed with the under-19.^[2][3]

In July 2023, he signed his first professional contract with Angers.^[1][4]

Cherif made his professional debut with Angers in a 1–0 Ligue 2 away loss to Stade Lavallois on 9 January 2024.^[5][6]

International career

Born in Guinea, Cherof was called to the France under-16 team during the 2021–22 season.^[2][7][8]
