The firm was founded in 1896 by twin brothers, Percy and Edward Simmons, while both were 21 years old.^[4] Clients include Enpal and Chelsea F.C.. Simmons represented Enpal in its debt fundraising round in 2021 and a financing round in 2022.^[5][6][7] Simmons & Simmons advised Chelsea FC in its £4.25bn sale to a consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.^[8]
