Description
The station is located at 11080 South Grandville Avenue, with both of the station’s side platform situated in the median of that road. The station will have a park and ride lot, according to the new UTA TRAX system map.[2] It is unknown how many parking spaces the lot will include.
The station’s construction was necessitated by the construction of The Ballpark at America First Square, as well as general commercial & residential growth in the community. Construction began on the station in the summer of 2024, and opened on March 26, 2025.[3][2][4]
While the station’s official name is “South Jordan Downtown”, it is also referred to as “Daybreak Central Station” in documents found on the Downtown Daybreak website.[5]
