Distribution

Sphaerellothecium stereocaulorum has been found in Alaska, Canada and Greenland.^[2]

Host species and symptoms

Sphaerellothecium stereocaulorum is known to infect the naked stems of Stereocaulon groenlandicum and Stereocaulon rivulorum.^[2]
