Stara Grzybowszczyzna [ˈstara ɡʐɨbɔfʂˈt͡ʂɨzna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krynki, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 10 km (6 mi) south-west of Krynki, 26 km (16 mi) south-east of Sokółka, and 37 km (23 mi) east of the regional capital Białystok.
The Orthodox church of Saint John the Baptist, founded by local cult leader Eliasz Klimowicz, is located near the village.[2]
