Stephen Crowe (composer)

Stephen Crowe is an English composer of chamber operas and experimental music. His work has been performed internationally.^[1] After performances in London,^[2] Edinburgh,^[3] Dublin,^[4] Cambridge^[5] and Berlin^[6] his The Francis Bacon Opera was described as both "pretentious nonsense"^[7] and "avoiding the pitfalls of pretentiousness".^[8]
