Stephen W. Dunwell

Stephen Warner Dunwell (April 3, 1913 – March 21, 1994) was an American computer engineer, known best for his role leading the team developing the IBM 7030 Stretch supercomputer at IBM.^[1][2] He was honored with an IBM Fellow in 1966,^[3] a Computer Pioneer Award in 1992,^[4][5] and was named an ACM Fellow in 1994.^[6] He died of cancer.^[7]
