This seat includes Stratford which has undergone extensive regeneration and hosted the 2012 Olympic Games. Bow and Old Ford to the west and Forest Gate to the east have mostly Victorian housing with some post-war housing estates.

- The Borough of Tower Hamlets wards of Bow East and Bow West, transferred from Bethnal Green and Bow (renamed Bethnal Green and Stepney)
