Sumiko Shirakawa (白川 澄子, Shirakawa Sumiko; June 26, 1935 – body discovered November 26, 2015) was a Japanese actress and voice actress from Shibuya, Tokyo. She was best known for roles as Hiroshi Nakajima (Sazae-san), Hidetoshi Dekisugi (Doraemon) and Ace (Space Ace).[citation needed]
On November 26, 2015, Shirakawa failed to attend a recording session for Sazae-San.[1] Her body was discovered at her home by family members and staff members of the Sazae-san anime. She reportedly died of a subarachnoid hemorrhage at her home in Tokyo.[2] She was 80 years old.[3]
