Susan Eaner is a Camogie player who was born in Ireland, part of the Galway senior panel who lost the 2010[1] and '11[2][3] All Ireland finals against Wexford, She was there to beat Kilkenny in the '13 final.[4]

School and College

Born in Clonfert Co Galway near where the Shannon forms the Galway-Offaly border, so that's how she ended up attending St Rynagh's, Banagher captaining the school team to the '04 All Ireland and NUI Galway which she left in '08. More recently, from college, Ms. Eaner has gone off with a Higher Diploma in Education. It was very exciting for her, She is now a qualified secondary school teacher in French and Geography and Teaching. Locally Ms. Eaner is currently learning Spoken and Written welsh. Now teaching in Ard scoil chiarain she is delighted to train the senior girls team, getting them to a quarter final with hard work, time and patience.[5]

Intermediate medal '04, Jr medal '03, Jr League '03, U16 '00. Galway potY '03, Sec. school Medal.[6] Susan also holds the record for the donkey derby held each year at the Ballinasloe Horse Fair. In 2007 she rode "Bridges Bullet" to victory in a record time of 4 minutes 22 seconds.[citation needed] She got a camogie award in '11 too.[citation needed]
