Tania McCartney is an Australian author, illustrator, editor and designer.[1]

Biography

She is perhaps most known for over 65 books for children. She has also written books for adults.[2]

McCartney hosts a podcast called The Happy Book.[3] She is the founder of a book review website, Kids' Book Review.[4] She also founded the 52-Week Illustration Challenge, a Facebook group with thousands of members, which ran from 2014-2018.[5][6]

She has written for various publications, including The Sydney Morning Herald[7][8] Tickle the Imagination,[9] Australian Women Online,[10] and Beijing Kids.[11]
