Tarokar Mrityu

Tarokar Mrityu (lit. 'Death of a Star') is a 2023 Indian Bengali-language mystery thriller film directed by Haranath Chakraborty. The screenplay and story were written by Padmanabha Dasgupta. It starred Ranjit Mallick, Ritwick Chakraborty, and Parno Mitra in lead roles.^[1][2] Nabarun Bose composed the music, Supriyo Dutta handled cinematography, and Sujoy Dutta Roy edited the film. The story revolved around the life of a retired man entangled in mysterious events.^[3]

Plot

Ritwick, a screenwriter, and Parno, a schoolteacher, went on a vacation to Kalimpong. They stayed in a bungalow locally known to be haunted. Paranormal incidents began occurring there, leading the couple to uncover a murder mystery. During this time, an investigative officer (played by Ranjit Mallick) entered the story.^[4]
