Tavrichesky District

Tavrichesky District (Russian: Таври́ческий райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Omsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,800 square kilometers (1,100 sq mi).^{[citation needed]} Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Tavricheskoye.^[1] Population: 36,458 (2010 Census);^[3] 38,840 (2002 Census);^[7] 47,751 (1989 Soviet census).^[8] The population of Tavricheskoye accounts for 36.0% of the district's total population.^[3]
