With nearly 60 years of experience, Televés has launched more than 1,500 different products, an achievement the company links to its deep-rooted manufacturing vocation. It has its own certification and quality control laboratories, and in 2017 launched its project to adapt to the smart factory model or Industry 4.0.

As a manufacturer of equipment for the reception and distribution of broadcast television signals, Televés played a key role in the digital television transition, both in Spain and other European countries.

In the collective imagination, the Televés brand is closely linked to satellite dishes painted in the characteristic corporate orange color, which corresponds to Pantone 137 or RAL 1007.[2] In this sense, Televés has been the first Spanish company to obtain a color trademark, being the exclusive user of this color in terrestrial antennas (Trademark No. 4,025,913). In July 2013, one of these antennas became part of the collection of the National Museum of Science and Technology at its headquarters in A Coruña,[3] as an example of technological development that has had a real impact on the lives of citizens.

Since 2014, Televés has entered the health care sector, with the development of its own solutions for the care of elderly and dependent people[4] along with a project to develop a smart room[5] for the Galician Healthcare Service.
