History
The settlement was first founded in 1898 as a settlement of Haichur.[1] After World War II, it was renamed Ternuvate.[1]
Until 26 January 2024, Ternuvate was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Ternuvate became a rural settlement.[4]
