Folarinwale Elemide (born 19 October 1994) known professionally as The Flowolf is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter.[1] He rose to prominence in 2020 with the release of the viral song[2]'Mafa Mafa' featuring Davido,[3] Peruzzi and Dremo,[4] which peaked at number 2 on the Nigeria Apple Music chart on the week of April 5, 2020.[5] He’s affiliated to Davido Music Worldwide.[6]

Early life and education
Folarinwale Elemide was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, where he grew up to pursued his secondary education before moving to the United Kingdom for further studies.he studied Business Administration at the University of Reading.[7] His musical career began in his childhood when he joined his church choir. While he was in school he and some friends formed a music group and they always performed at their school's prize-giving day and other special occasions.[8]

Career
In 2015, his music career became professional when he was signed to Ocho Records.[9] In 2017, The Flowolf released his debut single 'Playback' which featured Davido and Dremo.[10] In 2019, he released his hit single 'No Shaking' which features Mayorkun and Peruzzi.[11] In 2020, he dropped a collaborate single 'Mafa Mafa' where he featured Davido, Peruzzi and Dremo under Davido Music Worldwide.[12] The song went viral and many people jumped on the Mafa Mafa Dancing Challenge, it peaked at number 2 on the Nigeria Apple Music chart on the week of April 5, 2020.[13] He has released other notable singles, including 'Bobo', 'You Are Cancelled', 'Fifa' and 'Blood Hot'.
