As a child, Finn Bergmann witnesses the traumatic death of his older sister, Anna, who appears possessed and dies under mysterious circumstances during a family emergency. The incident leaves Finn emotionally scarred and suffering from hallucinations, nightmares, and a growing sense of paranoia. His wealthy parents attribute his condition to mental illness and place him on strong medication to suppress his visions.
Now a teenager, Finn continues to experience disturbing phenomena. When a classmate dies in a similarly unexplained manner, Finn becomes suspicious and begins to question the true nature of his condition and the medication he has been prescribed. Alongside his friends Lena and Samira, Finn begins investigating the strange events surrounding him.
Their search leads them to uncover a secret conspiracy involving a powerful pharmaceutical company connected to Finn’s parents. The company is distributing a medication that does more than treat mental illness—it is used to suppress demonic entities implanted in individuals as part of a broader occult ritual. Finn and his friends learn that the elite, including his family, are members of a secretive cult that uses these rituals and medications to transfer demonic beings into younger hosts, granting them immortality and continued power.
As the cult prepares for a final ritual involving Finn as the next host, he and Lena attempt to escape and expose the truth. The climax descends into a nightmarish confrontation involving supernatural forces, ritual sacrifice, and the horrific realization of Finn’s intended role in the cult’s plans.
The film concludes ambiguously, suggesting that despite surviving the ordeal, Finn may already be possessed by the demonic entity, or remains at risk, leaving the door open for further interpretation.
