Rooster series

Jaeger began his "CS" (Chicken Scratch) series of rooster paintings during an artist residency in Montcaret, France in 2008.[1] The series marked a transition from Jaeger's earlier focus on the human figure to a more process-oriented approach emphasizing color, texture, and abstraction. According to Jaeger, the roosters emerged as a new subject during a period of exploration, reflecting his growing interest in formal elements of painting rather than narrative representation.[2]
