Demographics

The population of Tinnye has grown steadily over the past several decades. In 1980, the population was 1,262, declining slightly to 1,118 by 1990. Geography

It lies in the Central Hungarian region, characterized by a landscape of plains and low hills. History

Following the Ottoman occupation and subsequent Habsburg resettlement efforts in the 18th century, the region saw the arrival of diverse ethnic groups, including Germans, Slovaks, Croats, Serbs, Bulgarians, and Roma communities.[4]
