Titanium(II) bromide

Titanium(II) bromide is the inorganic compound with the formula TiBr₂. It is a black micaceous solid. It adopts the cadmium iodide structure, featuring octahedral Ti(II) centers. It arises via the reaction of the elements:^[1]
