Title 8 of the United States Code is a non-positive law title of the United States Code with the heading "Aliens and Nationality." [1] The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 is principally editorially codified to chapter 12 of Title 8. The heading of the title was originally "Aliens and Citizenship" (1926) but it was changed to its current heading, "Aliens and Nationality," starting with the 1940 edition of the U.S. Code.[2][3]
