Toshio Toyota (豊田 敏夫, Toyota Toshio; born 19 July 1956 in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto) is a Japanese retired sprinter. He qualified for the 1980 Japan Olympic team but did not compete due to the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott.[2][3] He was the gold medallist in the 200 metres and 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1981 Asian Championships and the first Japanese to run under 21 seconds with electronic timing in the 200 metres.[4]
