Totsky District

Totsky District (Russian: То́цкий райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-five in Orenburg Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,100 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi).^[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Totskoye.^[2] Population: 32,866 (2010 Census);^[4] 41,332 (2002 Census);^[7] 32,174 (1989 Soviet census).^[8] The population of Totskoye accounts for 21.0% of the district's total population.^[4]
