Urus-Martan (Russian: Уру́с-Марта́н; Chechen: Хьалха-Марта, Ẋalxa-Marta or Мартантӏи, Martanthi) is a town and the administrative center of Urus-Martanovsky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia, located on the Martan River. Population: 63,449 (2021 Census);[6] 49,070 (2010 Census);[2] 39,982 (2002 Census);[7] 32,851 (1989 Soviet census).[8]
