Uwe Koschinat (born 1 September 1971) is a German former footballer and current manager of Rot-Weiss Essen.[2]

Coaching career
Koschinat was an assistant coach at TuS Koblenz.[3] He became the interim head coach for Koblenz on 17 December 2009.[3] Petrik Sander became the next head coach on 27 December 2009.[4] He lost his only match in–charge 1–0 to FSV Frankfurt.[5] Koschinat became head coach of Fortuna Köln on 1 July 2011.[6] He terminated his contract on 15 October 2018, to become the manager of SV Sandhausen.[7][8] He was sacked on 24 November 2020.[9] On 6 April 2021, 1. FC Saarbrücken announced that they hired Koschinat starting from the 2021–22 season.[10] He left Saarbrücken in October 2022.[11] In March 2023, he was appointed the new coach for Arminia Bielefeld.[12] After Bielefeld was relegated to the 3. Liga, he left Bielefeld.[13] He was signed by VfL Osnabrück in November 2023.[14] In September 2024, he was sacked.[15] He was hired by Rot-Weiss Essen in December 2024.[16]
