Venigandla

Venigandla is a village in the Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Pedakakani mandal of Guntur revenue division.^[2]

Government and politics

Venigandla gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.^[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.^[4] The ward members are headed by a Sarpanch.^[5] The village forms a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is under the jurisdiction of APCRDA.^[6]

Education

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 7 schools. These include one private, one other type and 5 Zilla Parishad/Mandal Parishad schools.^[7]
