Veronica Chou (Chinese: 曹穎惠; pinyin: Cáo Yǐnghuì, also known as Veronica Sylvia Wing Wai Au Chou; born 1984) is a Chinese-American businesswoman.

Early life

Born in 1984 in Hawaii, she is the daughter of Silas Chou, a prominent figure in the fashion industry. Raised in Hong Kong, Chou pursued her education in the United States, attending Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut and later studying communications and business at the University of Southern California.^[2][1][3]

Career

Veronica Chou is a prominent entrepreneur, philanthropist, and advocate for sustainable fashion. She has significantly influenced the global fashion industry, championing environmentally friendly practices and innovative business models that prioritise sustainability and social responsibility.

Veronica Chou served as the president of Iconix China Group, where she played a pivotal role in introducing and expanding major American mass-market brands in China. Under her leadership, the group successfully brought over 12 brands, such as Material Girl and Rampage, to the Chinese market, opening more than 1,000 stores and creating a strong retail presence. Simultaneously, through Novel Fashion Holdings, Chou was involved in investments in luxury fashion brands like Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger, which have grown into globally recognised names. These ventures underscore her ability to bridge Western brands with Asian markets, all while paving the way for her later focus on sustainability in the fashion industry. ^[4][5][1]

In 2019, Chou launched Everybody & Everyone, an eco-friendly and size-inclusive women's fashion brand. The brand emphasises sustainability by utilising recycled materials and implementing environmentally conscious practices. Personal life

On November 16, 2012, Chou married Evgeny Klyucharev at Wan Chai's Grand Hyatt Hotel. ^[2][5][1] They spend their time in London and are parents to twin boys.^[1][9]

Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Chou is involved in philanthropic activities. She hosted the Apex for Youth’s 29th Inspiration Awards Gala at Mott 32, demonstrating her commitment to supporting underserved Asian and immigrant youth from low-income families. ^[10]
